Independent selection

Editorial attention is not for sale. A pitch, gift or commercial enquiry does not guarantee coverage. Personal essays and notes express a point of view; they are not presented as reported profiles or product testing.

Commercial disclosure

Client work is separate from independent editorial selection. Published paid partnerships must be prominently labeled and identify the sponsor. Any future affiliate link must be disclosed beside the recommendation; the Things collection is currently an editorial archive, not a shop.

Images and context

Reference imagery illustrates a mood or idea and is not evidence of the named object, building or person. Images should identify their source and creator where known. Source links are provenance, not a guarantee of publication rights; permissions and accurate captions must be checked before promotion.

Contributors and rights

Creators retain ownership unless a separate agreement says otherwise. Sending a pitch does not license the work for publication. Commission scope, fees, credit, usage and permissions must be agreed with a human editor before production or publication.

Attribution and corrections

THEADORA is the publication byline. Existing issue dates are display labels until publication dates are verified. Factual claims, sources and authorship require editorial review. To flag an error or rights concern, send the page URL, the disputed detail and supporting information via Contact. Substantive corrections should be identified on the affected work rather than silently obscured.
